Insurance policy for the delivery service

Wyat offers a paid insurance for delivery services and free subscription for the customer.

The subscription to the insurance offer covers only those abjets or documents in excellent condition, that do not present any major physical defect at collection.

In the event of damage or loss suffered by the objects or documents covered, WYAT undertakes to reimburse the full purchase price justified by an authentic invoice that our services could verify if necessary.

Intangible damage and loss of earnings are not covered. The client must therefore ensure that his object or document has a value attest by an authentic invoice before subscribing to the insurance policy.

WYAT does not insure packages or items valued at more than 15,000 CAD. Any customer or driver who violates this rule does so at his own risk and could incur a suspension of our network of services.

Packages covered or insured must be checked at pick-up by the driver or service agent at the partner relay point before confirmation of shipment. the driver or service agent of the point of relai may reject any package which they consider not conforming by its physical condition to our requirements. If the customer insists despite the finding of a failure to deliver the package, he must sign a disclaimer for the benefit of the company in case of additional damage occurred during delivery operations and will not pay any insurance costs. The insurance costs are fixed and have a value of $05.00 CAD. The payment of compensation amounts in case of damage are made within a period of 15 to 21 days and in case of investigation opened by our services, this period may be extended reasonably. If the investigation concludes that there is any fault or fraud on the part of the client, then the client will be informed by written mail and mailed to his or her home address. The letter will also indicate the likely actions that may be taken against it, including legal action, and the time frame for recourse to either WYAT or the competent authorities to resolve the pending dispute
